Pratibhas – a spiritual evening was organized by Shamayita Math in Bidhan Bhawan on the eve of the 22nd Foundation Day of the Durgapur branch of Shamayita Math, on 9th May, 2019. The programme was inaugurated  through chanting from Vedas and Upanishads followed by a presentation of Message of Sri Sri Prabhuji, by Sri Sailen Chakraborty. The day was symbolic for the Bengali community as it was the birthday of the noble laureate Rabindranath Tagore.  To commemorate the contribution of Tagore, his poetry and songs were presented by Sailen Chakraborty and Riya Sinha respectively. The speech delivered by Rishi Riddha Anahata – the Secretary of the organization left the audience spell bound. The objective of her speech was on how human mind can explore the purpose of life and how can the discovery be manifested in daily life. The evening ended with the harmonium recital by Sri Prasanta Singha.
